Orange Ginger Chicken

A simple and delicious chicken recipe that you can throw in the instant pot or slow cooker. Serve with rice or riced cauliflower and vegetables or salad for a balanced meal. I usually serve mine with steamed stir fry veg (bought pre-chopped and frozen) and rice for an easy meal.


1 2 chicken thighs

1/2 cup orange juice

1/4 cup GF soy sauce

1/4 cup coconut sugar

1 tbsp minced garlic

1 tbsp minced ginger

1 tsp salt


  1. place all of the ingredients except for the chicken into your slow cooker or instant pot. Stir to combine.

  2. Add the chicken and mix around to coat the chicken on all sides.

  3. Place the lid on your pot and cook on high for 4 hours for the slow cooker, or pressure cook 20 minutes + 10 minutes natural release for the instant pot.
