I made these tacos with a homemade seasoning blend and paired them with chopped veggies, a dairy free "sour cream" and live wraps. live wraps are a gluten free wrap made from flax and vegetables. I love them because they don't tear like most gluten free wraps and they are also paleo and keto friendly with only 5 grams of net carbohydrate per wrap. I buy them at Whole Foods and Healthy Planet.
Taco Seasoning (for 1 lb of ground meat)
1 tbsp chili powder
1/2 tbsp ground cumin
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika (or paprika if you don't have smoked)
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika (or paprika if you don't have smoked)
Toppings
I top my tacos with tomato, shredded lettuce, jalapeno pepper, red onion, vegan cheese shreds, avocado or guacamole, salsa and Dairy Free "Sour Cream" (mix together 2 tbsp of plain unsweetened coconut yogurt with 1/2 tsp lemon juice.
